Week 18

Woof feels that Library 2.0 is what the whole 23 things is all about.  Moving with the times technologically whist implementing many strategies that are already employed by libraries.

Week 17

Hello again every lovely body. Woof is back.

I would love to say that I have been having some great adventures or doing something for the good of fur-kind but the truth is that I have been doing a whole lot of doggy things. Sleeping, eating, chewing bones ( not the carpet or the remote control this time) and generally being a good boy.

I have been keeping a close eye on other peoples blogs however and would like to say a special hello to Albert.  A very wise and handsome fellow indeed.  Also the pets page on the library Wiki is a great place to browse and admire all the four leggers out there.

Well, down to business.  This week I have been playing with del.icio.us.  I must admit that it is very addictive.  At first I thought that it was just another form of Google search but then I started following peoples trails.  How to get lost in cyberspace.  And boy isn’t there a lot of rubbish on YouTube?.  Still, I have been having lots of fun with it, almost as much fun as chasing Sissy or The Cat.

Which is what I think I will do now.  So take care my friends and will write some more soon. Woof.

Week 16

Hello to all my furry friends. Woof has had great fun with Google Homepage. It is somewhere that you can spend hours exploring. I am sure that I will add more sites to it as I go along. I have yet to check out the dogs sites.

Week 15

Hooray! woof is more than half way there.

Google books was good fun, I looked up some of my favorite books.  It was hard to find books that showed full text.  I found some titles of my favourite ‘Walter the dog’ books. (check out my LibraryThing for full titles, a bit rude to name them here). Wiil probably change from Amazon.com to Goole books.

I am off to read now. I will try not to dribble on the pages. Woof

Woof has no use for Google Docs and Spreadsheets.  He would rather chew on a good bone or sock.

Week 13

Woof loves Google maps.  He went to England to visit his aunties.  He found out that his grandma lives on a vacant block and that if you try to get to 221 Burwood Highway Burwood from Geelong, you end up at the Elgar road site of the Burwood Campus.

Funny huh?  Woof
