Week 23

Hoorah!!!!!!!!   Woof has finished 23 things.  He will  be very sad to go back to his normal life.  Woof has had great fun learning all these new things and has made some new friends along the way.

Woof is a very clever boy indeed.

Week 22

A bit of a disapointment. Second life looks great as a learning tool. But I don’t think that My Mum will let me have my own avatar. Plus what would I do? You can pretty much do everything in real life that you can in Second life except that you look great in Second life and I already look great. It would be cool to go to school in Second life though and I think that Deakin University ought to explore using their island in some way.

Oh well, I had better go now. I will be sorry to be finishing 23 things, it has been great fun.

Week 21

Woo Hoo… Woof is nearly finished. He had lots of fun this week listening to podcasts. He really likes science stuff so he has subscribed to ‘The Science Show’ on the ABC.

Can’t wait to get to Second life.

Week 20

Wow! So much fun to be had by one little dog. Woof has been watching YouTube videos on two leggers digging up bones and playing sports with balls. Two of my favourite things. As well as sleeping of course, but it is a bit boring watching people sleep. I have to keep asking My Mum if she is sleeping or just playing. Usually she really is trying to sleep. Another of my favourite things is eating (Sissy’s too) but I would rather do the eating than watch someone else eat.

Hmmm. Talking about food is making me hungry. I had better go and see what is in my bowl.

Week 19

Woof would like to thank his new friend Felicia for helping him with his photo for the Library Wiki. Sorry Kat, but those instructions were not easy to follow and I am a very clever boy, so imagine how people like my My Mum are going to cope.

It took me a while to come up with that photo. I wanted a picture of the three of us together and that is the best one that came out. As you can see Sissy wanted to take control and The Cat was not being very co-operative (nasty cat) and I don’t like the way digital cameras delay taking the photo when with the three of us you need to snap instantly to get the perfect pose. Still, it is a good photo of me.

You might be wondering why there is a pot of grass growing on the back porch. That is so that The Cat can eat some grass when he goes out onto the back porch with My Mum. Other than that he is not allowed outside. Not like sissy and me, we get to run around the garden and chase the birds and the neighbour’s cats and have all sorts of fun.

Week 18

Woof feels that Library 2.0 is what the whole 23 things is all about.  Moving with the times technologically whist implementing many strategies that are already employed by libraries.

Week 17

Hello again every lovely body. Woof is back.

I would love to say that I have been having some great adventures or doing something for the good of fur-kind but the truth is that I have been doing a whole lot of doggy things. Sleeping, eating, chewing bones ( not the carpet or the remote control this time) and generally being a good boy.

I have been keeping a close eye on other peoples blogs however and would like to say a special hello to Albert.  A very wise and handsome fellow indeed.  Also the pets page on the library Wiki is a great place to browse and admire all the four leggers out there.

Well, down to business.  This week I have been playing with del.icio.us.  I must admit that it is very addictive.  At first I thought that it was just another form of Google search but then I started following peoples trails.  How to get lost in cyberspace.  And boy isn’t there a lot of rubbish on YouTube?.  Still, I have been having lots of fun with it, almost as much fun as chasing Sissy or The Cat.

Which is what I think I will do now.  So take care my friends and will write some more soon. Woof.

Week 16

Hello to all my furry friends. Woof has had great fun with Google Homepage. It is somewhere that you can spend hours exploring. I am sure that I will add more sites to it as I go along. I have yet to check out the dogs sites.
